Innovation

Innovation comes from a willingness to question, to dream and to create. Aquila holds innovation as one of its highest standards.  Fresh products, features, designs and style are all challenged to deliver the world’s best power catamarans. To date Aquila has continued to deliver on this standard time and time again.

  • Woman relaxing in interior of Aquila 44 catamaran

From spectacular panoramic windows to inviting open spaces Aquila cabins feel more like your villa on the water than a traditional boat cabin.

  • A view of the Aquila 44 bar area

Nothing makes a boat feel more open that to be open. The rear galley with its "welcome aboard" window and seating extends the living and entertaining space to incorporate the outdoors when weather is inviting. Or, on rainy days it protects the cabin while maintaining visibility with an all glass rear bulkhead.

  • The Aquila 32 Swim Platform

Reinventing the swims step to make it a more thoughtful and useful element on the boat resulted in the Aqui-Lift. This platform offers multiple positions for effortless seawall height boarding or lowered it delivers easy access to the water for swimming, diving or just cooling off.

  • The Aquila 32 control panel

Digital switching reduces weight and load on electrical systems.  Technology often found in much larger and more expensive yachts has been engineered and designed into Aquila for improved reliability and performance of electrical systems.

  • The Aquila 48 still in water

Through the use of engineered carbon fiber cross members in larger Aquila Power Catamarans, great strength and rigidity are delivered without adding performance compromising weight or taking up larger living spaces with oversized construction elements.

  • The Transitioning Foil of the Aquila 36

Typically found only in custom and high-performance applications, Aquila has engineered a transitioning foil that allows the boat to rise and descend based on speed. The Aquila Hydro Glide Fixed Foil bridges both hulls and includes two independent foils on each transom. The added dihedral angle of a V shape to the main foil makes the transition up and down from "floating to flying" smooth and predictable. Fuel efficiency is improved by as much as 40% and top speeds as much as 35% with this feature.
