Typically found only in custom and high-performance applications, Aquila has engineered a transitioning foil that allows the boat to rise and descend based on speed. The Aquila Hydro Glide Fixed Foil bridges both hulls and includes two independent foils on each transom. The added dihedral angle of a V shape to the main foil makes the transition up and down from "floating to flying" smooth and predictable. Fuel efficiency is improved by as much as 40% and top speeds as much as 35% with this feature.
