Welcome to the Family

The Aquila family continues to grow, and recently we were very excited to welcome Larry and April Smith along with their dog Abby, who their boat is named after - One Eye Dog. They are experienced and enthusiastic cruisers, having already completed the Great Loop on their previous yacht. We look forward to hearing about and sharing the adventures they have on their Aquila 44.

They took delivery of their Aquila at MarineMax St. Petersburg, which is also the US Sales Hub for Aquila. In the video below you can watch their christening that we were fortunate to be a part of. Prior to their christening the MarineMax and Aquila team spent time with them showing them the facilities at MarineMax St. Petersburg and introducing them to the team members there. While One Eye Dog will be busy traveling and not based out of St. Petersburg, the MarineMax and Aquila team wanted to make sure that whenever they are in the area the crew feels comfortable and welcome at the store and marina. A MarineMax captain also walked the crew through their new boat so they would be very familiar with all of its features and details.
