Aquila Catamarans will make its highly anticipated debut at the Annapolis Sailboat Show this October, with a standout display of its newest sailing catamarans. Headlined by the US premiere of the 45 Sail, the 50 Sail will also be on the line-up, making its first show appearance since the brand's entry into the sailing catamaran market earlier this year.
Show attendees will have the opportunity to experience two exceptional models at one of the world's most prestigious sailing events, marking an exciting milestone in Aquila's continued expansion into the sail segment.
The show takes place from October 15-18, 2026, with Aquila’s models located at Dock B.
The second model in the new Aquila sailing range, the Aquila 45 Sail delivers thoughtful design. At 47 feet with a 25'5" beam, the design prioritizes interior space, exterior social hubs, cruising comfort, and sailing capability with over 1,350 square feet of upwind sail area.
The fixed bow provides additional deck space forward with comfortable seating and sun pad area. Bridge-to-bow access allows movement around the boat from the large open flybridge helm area, which features U-shape seating, a coffee table, and forward-facing settee.
The aft cockpit, a social space designed for everything from family dinners to sunset celebrations, flows directly into the 45 Sail’s high-spec salon and galley. Panoramic windows bring natural light into the interior living spaces, which offer comfort during extended cruising and a range of home comforts.
Buyers can choose between three and four cabin configurations, each with private entrances and heads with showers, meaning the 45 Sail can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. This adaptability and personalization are aimed at suiting the different needs of both private owners and charter operations.
The 45 Sail has also been announced as a finalist in the European Yacht of the Year Awards, with the winner to be announced in early 2027.
Launched earlier this year as Aquila’s first sailing model, the award-winning 50 Sail maximizes space, functionality, cruising comfort, and quality with features like bridge-to-bow access for easy movement from flybridge to foredeck cockpit, a fixed bow entertaining space, and well-appointed salon and galley. Incorporating advanced composite techniques and precise quality control, the 50 Sail has a choice of four, five, or six cabin configurations with private entrances. The 50 Sail has made an immediate impact in the sailing market, with a global order book and winner of the Premier Category at the Multihull of the Year Awards 2026.
