EUROPEAN DEBUT OF THE AQUILA 50 SAIL, WITH 50 YACHT, 46 COUPE, AND 32 SPORT COMPLETING THE LINE UP

Aquila Catamarans will show its new 50ES Hybrid Ocean Drive sail catamaran for the first time in Europe at the International Multihull Show, along with three power catamaran models. Taking place from 22-26 April in La Grande-Motte, France, Aquila will showcase the signature features and design quality across its range. This year, Aquila will be situated at a new location, Stand P1, with an on-land lounge overlooking its vessels within easy reach for tours.

50 Sail

The 50ES Hybrid Ocean Drive makes its European debut as a nominee for the 2026 Multihull of the Year award. First launched at Miami International Boat Show 2026, the 50ES/DS (electric sail or diesel sail) maximizes space, functionality, cruising comfort, and quality. Developed in collaboration with long-standing design partners J&J Design, Aquila’s signature design is evident throughout both form and function.

A bow cockpit creates a social zone, with a large bow seating area for lounging and socializing. It offers an ideal setting for dining, sunbathing, or relaxing while cruising the open waters. The 50 Sail also has bridge-to-bow access for easy movement from flybridge to the forward bow cockpit. The well-appointed salon and galley feature a stylish, modern design and panoramic windows to maximize natural light.

Below deck, there is a choice of four, five, or six cabin configurations with extensive head height and storage throughout. Each cabin maintains its own private entrance and features ensuite facilities with full size walk-in showers. The owner's cabin offers a spacious, private retreat with large hull-side windows, providing ample natural light and a comfortable, luxurious atmosphere.

Propulsion options are open to suit a variety of cruising styles, with either diesel engines or Hybrid Ocean Drive™ available, providing silent, electric propulsion and silent ship capability while at anchor.

Sailing is at the heart of the Aquila leadership team’s DNA, with many of its leadership team competing in international sailing, as well as completing trans-Pacific crossings.

50 Yacht

With an "Explorer" style and commanding high freeboard, the 50 Yacht power catamaran blends bold aesthetics with serious offshore capability. Configuration options enable buyers to customize the yacht to match their cruising lifestyle. Refined finishes and panoramic windows provide extraordinary views while ensuring comfort on every voyage.

There are expansive outdoor living and entertaining spaces, including a comfortable foredeck space with sun pads, seating and bow seats integrated into deck railing. The aft deck features a bar area which is seamlessly linked to the salon and galley through clever design features. The large salon area has comfortable U-Shaped seating and a sofa area to the starboard side.

The expansive flybridge creates the perfect space for al fresco entertainment and has a high-spec helm station, with direct access to the bow from starboard steps. An optional interior helm offers added comfort during inclement weather.

Accommodation offers a sophisticated three cabin layout as standard, with a single-level, full-beam master cabin and versatile utility room. Alternatively, the layout can be configured to a four-cabin layout with optional Captain quarters.

With ‘Category A’ ocean certification for serious offshore boating, the 50 Yacht is constructed using resin infused vinylester (standard for all Aquila models) providing strength and rigidity.

All models in the Aquila Yachts range feature a foam-cored bulbous bow. This unique technology enhances stability by generating additional lift at the forward section of the hull and significantly reducing “hobby horsing” in choppy conditions.

The 50 Yacht is also available with the Aquila Hydro Glide foil assist technology as an option. The Aquila Hydro Glide foil assist technology was first developed for the Aquila 36 Sport and is now available on the 50 Yacht, 46 Yacht, 42 Yacht, 46 Coupe (standard), 42 Coupe (standard) and the 36 Sport.

46 Coupe

A truly complete boating package, the Aquila 46 Coupe blends yacht comforts, sport performance, and offshore capability. It is the winner of the Yacht Style Awards 2025 sub-15m power catamaran category, as well as a nominee for European Power Boat of the Year and Foil Awards. The 46 Coupe’s generous beam delivers remarkable interior volume for a yacht of this length, along with a host of features and benefits unique to power catamarans.

Spacious interior cabins with large hull side windows offer excellent views of the water, while an expansive electric opening sunroof provides extensive light and sun to the interior space, and shields from the weather when needed. Protected bow seating provides a comfortable social space for four people, while the aft deck has an opening window bar area leading to the galley and salon. The aft also has two large sun loungers.

The unique Aquila Hydro Glide® carbon-fiber semi-foil system is standard on all Coupe models and means the 46 Coupe can deliver 40% greater fuel efficiency vs traditional monohulls. Combined with a double stepped hull, the 46 Coupe has excellent handling capabilities.

The Aquila 46 Coupe recently won the 2025 Yacht Style Award and was nominated for the 2026 European Powerboat of the Year award.

32 Sport

The Aquila 32 Sport provides nimble performance and day boating intelligence in a compact package. With a hull designed for stability and efficiency, it provides a wide beam and extensive space to host guests comfortably. The 32 Sport features social zones throughout, including a bow seating area which converts into a sun pad with plenty of seating elsewhere onboard - all complimented by a multi-zone Bluetooth sound system with six Fusion 6” speakers and numerous drink holders.

For overnighting, a double berth cabin to port and separated wet head with fresh water electric flushing toilet provide home-comforts.

At the helm, there is an adjustable seat comfortably sitting two passengers with individual flip-up bolsters and storage under the seating. The 32 Sport is powered by Twin Mercury Verado V6 225HP engines as standard (upgradable to 300HP with joystick piloting) which provide responsive handling. It is also equipped with Mercury VesselView 4” display with active trim control, power assist steering, switch panel, USB and AC outlets, and more.

Jean Raas, Chief Product Officer at Aquila Catamarans and CEO of Aquila USA, said: “It is always a pleasure to exhibit at the International Multihull Show.
