The Aquila Hydro Glide Foil System™ (AHG) can be thought of as a tool, and like all tools, it has a specific job. In this case, the job is to create fuel savings and efficiency, as well as a smoother ride by making you fly higher on the water.

Currently, the 36 Sport and 42 Yacht can be ordered with the foil attachment—both run great without the foils, but if you want them, you will see a marked improvement in some areas of your boat’s performance and reduced trips to your least favorite marina (a.k.a. fuel dock). If you enjoy seeing the sights and cruising at speeds lower than 20 knots, the standard Aquila bottom should be all you need. Now if you enjoy running your boat north of 20 knots because you like to cruise quickly, then the foil may be an option for your consideration. After all, who doesn’t like to fly?
