Walk any boat show these days, and you’ll see untold outboard cowlings lined up at the docks like rows of Star Wars stormtroopers. That’s because outboard engines are very much on the rise for many good reasons. Outboard engines are fast, relatively easy to maintain compared to inboards, and are efficient —that’s why an Aquila partnership with Mercury was a no-brainer. On Aquila’s smaller and sportier 32 & 36 Sport options, outboards just make sense.
