Leveraging existing relationships within the boat industry, the MarineMax team partnered with J&J Design Group; designers of more award-winning boats than arguably any other design group in the world. J&J has worked with companies such as Azimut Yachts, Bavaria, Beneteau, Dufour, Jeanneau, and Monte Carlo, just to name a few. In addition, J&J Design Group’s development arm known as Seaway began the process of designing the first true Aquila Power Catamaran – the Aquila 48.
As the discussion between MarineMax and J7J were in process, manufacturer Sino Eagle, a leader in high tech composite manufacturing with previous experience building catamarans for the world’s largest charter companies, was embarking on its plan to build a new factory solely with the focus on becoming a leading boat builder.
By leveraging the combined knowledge of these units, the collective team that was formed is arguably the most talented group ever put together to develop a power catamaran specifically for both the private retail market as well as for charter.
The result has been an uncompromising design brief, advanced industry experience, engineering, and world class manufacturing seen in the new Aquila 48 power catamaran, as well as the latest model – the Aquila 44 Power Cat.
These power catamarans are developing reputations as the game changers in the industry, and the new standard of excellence in boating experiences. MarineMax and Sino Eagle have now partnered to launch this exciting new brand of power catamarans globally. Both inside and out, Aquila Power Catamarans are designed to maximize your appreciation and enjoyment of life on the water; whether you’re living aboard or entertaining friends and family without leaving the dock. The expanding Aquila range now consists of the Aquila 38, 44, and 48 power catamarans.
